Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine have been
used in the treatment of fertility for over a thousand years, as far back as 11AD, according to ancient medical texts.
Acupuncture works by stimulating your body's natural ability to heal itself. The aim is to balance hormone
levels, improve blood circulation and stimulate the healthy maturation of sperm and eggs.
In the treatment
of fertility, I practice two forms of acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture and Five Element acupuncture:
· Traditional
Chinese Medicine acupuncture focuses on the treatment of physical symptoms such as irregular periods.

Five Element acupuncture
approaches healing from a more emotional perspective providing space for calm during a stressful time.
Treatment of fertility will also include Chinese
Dietary therapy which advises on specific foods to enhance your overall health based on your individual
Chinese Medicine diagnosis. I will also provide information on some simple lifestyle changes and acupressure
techniques that you can employ easily at home to help improve the chances of conceiving.
